Katherine Lane
Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition
Certified Personal Trainer
Katherine’s interest in the connections between nutrition and dance has been informed by her own experiences. While dancing professionally with United Ballet Theater in Orlando, Florida she pursued a certification as a sports nutrition specialist. To complement this, she studied exercise science and earned additional certification as a personal trainer.
Katherine’s approach focuses on identifying the factors preventing a dancer from reaching their personal peak performance and addressing the root causes with individualized nutritional counseling and/or a fitness plan as appropriate. She has a special interest in working to avoid preventable injuries before they happen and ensuring that every dancer develops both the strength and the knowledge to dance at their best.
