Counseling
These sessions address mental health concerns, emotional well-being, and past or current experiences that may be impacting current functioning.

Mental health counseling has a past-oriented focus, exploring the roots of issues, as well as a present-oriented apporach to focus on coping mechanisms and strategies for building a value-driven life. This approach utilizes clinical interventions to address present symptoms of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and more.
Some insurance plans cover mental health services and require a mental health diagnosis. We are happy to discuss your plans's coverage and the formal diagnosis process that is required.

Mental health counseling is done in one-on-one sessions and can be scheduled in-person or as virtual sessions. The initial session is 60 minutes. Follow-ups can range between 30 minutes to 60 minutes. The frequency of follow-up meetings is determined between the provider and the client/client's family.
