Katherine Lane
United Ballet Theatre
Katherine Lane began her ballet training in Cary/Apex, North Carolina. As a youth, she was invited to perform roles in several ballets with Carolina Ballet, including Carmina Burana, The Nutcracker, and The Little Mermaid. In 2019, she placed 1st in the pas de deux category at UBC for her performance in “Sarajevo”, and 3rd place in the classical category for Walpurgisnacht. In the same year, she was invited to compete at the New York finals of the Youth America Grand Prix. Under her training with Miguel Campaneria she performed roles such as Sugar Plum, Swanhilda and Aurora. Katherine has been performing with United Ballet Theatre since the fall of 2019 and is now an apprentice with the company.
In addition to training as a dancer, she has pursued additional interests and has earned certifications as a personal trainer and as a nutritionist with a focus on sports nutrition.
